About me

pink milkSince 1995, I’ve worked in a variety of writing and editing capacities for a wide range of clients and have held a number of key editorial positions in the magazine industry. I was a sub editor at IPC’s Muzik magazine and the reviews editor at Melody Maker, before joining nme.com as the inaugural  features editor in 2000.

I have worked on many high profile online projects, including warchildmusic.com, a pre-iTunes music download site that raised over £500,000 for the War Child charity during my Editorship. I have also worked as a freelance editor, researcher and writer in book publishing, most notably working on business and consumer titles for Dorling Kindersley.

You can find me in Electronic Sound, a digital magazine covering electronic music both old and new, and on local news site, wymondhamstuff.co.uk. I have also been know to actually write words on my own websites, mynewfavouriteband.com and the currently dormant vinyl love-in site rippingvinyl.co.uk.
